Pineapple Chicken Stew
Lunes na naman! Simulan ang linggo ng parang fiesta. Hainan ang inyong pamilya ng malinamam na chicken with fresh pinya – wag yung sa can, ha!
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup onion
- 3 cloves of garlic, sliced thin
- 1/2 kilo chicken (tinola cut)
- 2 cups fresh pineapple
- 2 medium-sized bell peppers (red and green)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- Additional full cream milk to adjust creaminess
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
Add oil in a pan, medium heat, saute garlic, onion – until brown.
Add in chicken, saute together until semi cooked, add in a little bell pepper, keep the rest for later.
Add water, season with salt, pepper, fish sauce according to taste, simmer for 10-15 mins.
Add in the milk and pineapple juice, simmer for 5 mins.
Add in the remaining bell peppers, simmer for 5 mins.
Add in fresh pineapple, mix them from time to time, to ensure flavors blend together. Simmer for 5 mins.
Serve hot!
