Spanish Sardines Spaghetti
Spanish-style sardines pasta with a kick of chili and Parmesan cheese!
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Spanish-style sardines in olive oil, mild hot
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup ripe tomatoes, sliced lengthwise
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 kilo pasta, cooked al dente
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chili flakes
Procedure
Saute tomatoes in oil until well cooked. Add Spanish-style sardines and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add parmesan and lemon. If needed, add a dash of salt and pepper, and adjust according taste. Simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Add cooked spaghetti and carefully mix evenly.
Serving suggestion: top with chili flakes
