Pork Burger Steak in Mushroom Gravy
Homemade pork patty pan fried and topped with white button mushroom gravy!
Ingredients
For Pork Patty:
- 1/2 kilo lean ground pork
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup onions, minced
- 1 piece egg
- dash of salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoon cooking oil
For Mushroom Gravy:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 6 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup beef broth
- dash of salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of fresh white button mushroom
Procedure
To make patties – combine and mix well all pork patty ingredients (except cooking oil) in a bowl. Scoop around 1/4 cup of mixture and roll into balls and gently press to form patties.
Once all patties are ready, pan fry them over a low to medium heat, until they are cooked. Set aside.
To make mushroom gravy – melt butter in a pan. Add in flour then stir until you can see brown lump formed. Stir in water then beef broth. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
Arrange burger patties on a plate, top them with mushroom gravy then serve hot!
